IIEC-Europe works in Eastern and Central Europe, the Newly Independent States, and South Africa. Working with local partners, IIEC-Europe encourages the adoption of energy efficiency and sustainable energy policies and practises. It achieves this through capacity building, policy development, research and training, and market-building. (An outline of each of these programmes can be found under IIEC-Europe’s current activities.) Established in London in 1993, IIEC-Europe is a registered charity in the UK.
