The main objective of the project is to enhance climate resilience in local level planning and developing a Community Led Action Plan on Climate Change.
IIEC was tasked to 1) Identify a micro watershed with the potential of demonstrating a climate resilience model; 2) Conduct consultation workshops to identify strategies for ecosystem-based local solutions towards adaption efforts; 3) Collect primary data to enable spatial planning within the watershed; and 4) Implement the adaptation measures in forest management practices, watershed management and development intervention to enhance climate resilience.
