IIEC's Thirty Years of Progress toward a Low-carbon and Energy Efficient Future
Today as we face the impacts of global climate change, it is more clear than ever that we need to work together to ensure that growth in the developing world follows a clean and efficient path. For 30 years, the IIEC has been working to meet that challenge through our regional offices and work on the ground in countries around the world.
Our continued efforts to strengthen energy efficiency policies, and aggressively implement large-scale clean energy projects, have reduced energy demand by more than 300 megawatts. At the same time, tens of thousands of people have benefited from our energy efficiency programs. This video showcases and features IIEC's work experience and key activities related to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and encouraging sustainable development.
