Ankita Bokhad, Project Manager

Ms. Ankita Bokhad is a Sustainability Professional, Green Building Expert, and Architect by profession. She has more than 6 years of experience in the field of sustainable habitat and energy-efficient buildings.

She is currently working as a Program Manager at the International Institute for Energy Conservation. Before this, she was a Research Associate with the Sustainable Habitat Programme at The Energy and Resources Institute, New Delhi, and has also been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Planning and Design, at Manipal University Jaipur. She has received her master’s degree from CEPT University, Ahmedabad with a specialization in Energy Efficiency. As an architect, she has a keen inclination toward the study of sustainable building materials and passive solar architecture techniques. She has been part of execution teams for various prestigious projects that included developing energy efficient building materials directory and mainstreaming sustainable social housing in India, along with several green building rating consultancies for a government department and private organizations.

In her capacity as a Program Manager at IIEC, her work profile requires her to come up with implementation-based solutions derived from applied research under various domains of sustainable habitat and the everyday challenges faced therein.
