Conduct of the energy audit in Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) (2015 - 2016)

IIEC conducted preliminary energy audit in five selected buildings in Pohnpei State in the Federated States of Micronesia covering public and commercial buildings. One building was then selected to undergo a Detailed Energy Audit. Using these results, a specific energy saving opportunity (ESO) considered to be the most feasible will be implemented using an implementation plan, also developed by the team.

In addition, the scope of activities included the evaluation and design of applicable energy efficiency improvement measures, assistance with the procurement of energy audit instruments, and the conduct of capacity building program on energy auditing for appropriate personnel at the Department of Energy, Ministry of Resources & Development.
