Promoting Household Energy Conservation through Feedback Services and Home Energy Audit on Residential Sustainable Lifestyle Programs (2019 - 2020)
This project aimed to reduce household electricity consumption and CO2 emissions and transform the behavior and lifestyle in the residential sector by encouraging energy-saving behaviors and the adoption of energy-efficient equipment.
IIEC performs the following activities:
Activity 1: Establishing a database of energy use in the residential sector
- Conduct a field survey on household energy consumption in 4,200 households in 4 provinces of Thailand
- Conduct a retail market survey on household electrical appliances in each province (at least 20 stores in a total of four provinces).
- Develop a database of household survey and retail market survey on household electrical appliances
Activity 2: Developing software for analysis and assessment of household electricity consumption and automatic creation of a feedback report and providing feedback service to pilot households
- Develop a software system
- Create a cloud server for database storage of energy use in the residential sector
- Summarize feedback service in 50 targeted households
Activity 3: Home Energy Audit
- Design and develop an assessment tool for home energy auditors to assess how much energy a household consumes
- Conduct Training workshops for home energy auditors
- Summarize feedback service in 50 targeted households
