The IIEC approach has become known for its innovations in finance such as eco-housing mortgages, in new technologies such as solar thermal hybrids, and in policies such as feeder based demand acquisition. This approach has ensured the expansion of pilot programs to large scale implementation utilising the resources of local institutions for sustainability.Wealth of International Experience in Asia and Pacific Region

Commitment to High Quality Training and Capability Building
IIEC stresses capability to transfer to and the active involvement of local personnel in all our assignments. We take a “learn-by-doing” approach to our projects, because we know that the best way for someone to learn a skill or technique is to actually use it to accomplish something tangible. We have also completed formal training courses on Energy Efficiency and DSM in many countries in the Asian region. In the DSM project in Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and South Africa capacity building of the DSM staff was one of the key objectives of the project. All these projects had a very comprehensive training program over a number of years. The proposed Consultants have had experience in developing, preparing, and conducting training programs on EE/ RE investment-grade studies in many countries in Asia such as India, the Philippines, Kenya, Maldives, and Vietnam.
